Today we welcome the students of Trinity Western University’s counselling Program. Since September this group of people have met on Monday nights to practice their learning by offering low-cost counselling through Fraser River Counselling. This is part of our parish’s commitment to the healing of the body, mind and spirit of the world. We will hear how this outreach program impacts our community and why followers of Jesus desire to be involved in this kind of work.
Our ministry of Healing at St. Dunstan’s is diverse.
- Healing Prayer on Sunday mornings
- the Rite of Reconciliation with the priest is available for everyone by appointment.
- Spiritual Direction is available for a fee for individuals by appointment.
- Group Spiritual Direction is offered through our new Spiritual Companions Groups beginning today after the service.
- Listening Prayer is a growing ministry where people come together in a small group for specific healing.
