This offering will review why & how one may include prayer beads in personal prayer and group worship and will include writing our own prayers. During this time we will pray together with provided examples and our own, while using our prayer beads (or any other tactile object such as special stone, wooden object, etc.) Light refreshments will be provided.
During Lent Joe will be offering compline online via Zoom. All participants will be invited to attend the compline Zoom offering Wednesday evenings: February 21, 28, March 6, 13, 20, 27 at 7:00pm.
Joe Baker is a member of St Dunstan’s Anglican Church and supports offerings of the Centre for Spiritual Renewal. He is always interested in the varied reasons, opportunities, frequency & ways we pray. Joe finds use of a tactile object such as prayer beads can be a comforting and grounding aid in prayer.
