In the beginning, the spirit moved over the waters. Since time immemorial water is known to be the essence of life. In our time we debate whether water is a human right or a commodity. In this offering, we will explore our relationship to water: our need and our privilege. 
Alvin Cube is a member of the Saulteau First Nation. He is a retired employee of the Ministry of Public Safety, Correctional Service of Canada of 25 years. Alvin has also served with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry serving one tour with the United Nations Emergency Force in Nicosia, Cyprus. Coupled with his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, his primary experience was gained through the development, management, and  implementation of Aboriginal programs within the federal penal system. His extensive experience allowed for a comprehensive understanding of the impact of colonialism and the positive solutions based on Aboriginal cultural healing. Currently Alvin enjoys working within Aboriginal organizations in Vancouver, BC and taking long trips on his motorcycle.
