This Lent we face some of the more difficult themes of being human.
Worship
Ash Wednesday is at 7pm
Sundays at 10am:
On Lent 1 we join Jesus in the desert and face our demons.
On Lent 2 we join Jesus and face our mortality.
On Lent 3 we join Jesus and face disaster.
On Lent 4 we join Jesus and face our resentments.
On Lent 5 we face the suffering of the cross.
Holy Week is from April 14th to 20th with special homilist in residence, the Reverend Helen Tervo.
Study
Wednesday Evenings at 7pm
March 13 we wonder how to engage in faithful Biblical theology (i.e. how to study Scripture and not kill each other).
March 20 we wonder about genocide in Scripture.
March 27 we wonder about misogyny in Scripture.
April 3 we wonder about homophobia in Scripture.
April 10 we wonder about hell and judgment in Scripture.
