Advent at St. Dunstan's

Advent is here. It is a time to prepare our hearts for Christmas when we celebrate God coming to live as one of us. Our services will guide us in this preparation so that we find our hearts, minds, ears and hands open to God's life-giving presence.

Sunday, December 2nd - The First Sunday of Advent

10am A service of Holy Communion. The Reverend Helen Tervo will preach on hope.

Sunday, December 9th - The Second Sunday of Advent

10am A service of Holy Communion. The Reverend David Taylor will preach on love.

Sunday, December 16th - The Third Sunday of Advent

10am. A service of Holy Communion. The Reverend David Taylor will preach on joy.

Sunday, December 16th - Christmas Concert with St. Dunstan’s Choir

7pm. A concert celebrating the story of Christmas. Refreshments will be served afterward.

Wednesday, December 19th at 7pm - Longest Night Service

A service designed for those who find the season difficult

10am. A service of Lesson & Carols.

Sunday, December 23rd - Sung Evening Prayer with Cathy Hardy

A prayerful service with an extended time of carolling.

Monday, December 24th - Christmas Eve Service

6pm. A service of Holy Communion for the whole family.

Monday, December 24th - Candlelight Service

10:30pm. A beautiful service of Holy Communion with candles and carols.
