Easter is such a great mystery, we teach our young people, that it continues for 40 days. We're not even half way through!
This Sunday we will continue to meditate on the First Letter of John (3:1-7). We will especially wonder what the implications are to be called Children of God.
I wonder what it means to you that God is your parent.
I wonder what it means that the person in the chair next to you at church is your sibling.
In the evening we will gather again for the final Sung Evening Prayer with Cathy Hardy at 7:30pm. Come enjoy a contemplative evening of music, prayer and reconciliation. We look forward to having these evenings begin again in the Fall.
Please note that there is a memorial for our beloved Charlie Delves on Wednesday at 11am at Alternative Funeral Services in Aldergrove. Please come by and show your support for his family as we celebrate his century among us.
This Friday at 4:30pm. Join us for an exciting inter-generational worship experience with songs, games, crafts, stories, communion and dinner.
Sunday, April 29th at our 10am service. We will recall our commitment to the reconciling love of God, especially as it relates to the indigenous experience of our country.
Sunday, May 6th at 9am. Drop in for a crepe breakfast with a variety of fillings for only $15 (children eat free!). The money collected will go toward our beautiful new labyrinth being constructed on our front lawn.
Saturday, May 26th from 8am to 4pm. Register for this full day of inspiration to energize our churches. More information can be found here.
Saturday, May 26th at 6pm. $50 for a full dinner, silent auction and show. This is our primary parish fundraiser and promises to be a lot of fun. Tickets go quickly so get yours by calling the parish office. We welcome the Northern Troubadours as our entertainment. They will feature music by Peter, Paul & Mary.
