Right up to Lent (which begins on Ash Wednesday February 26th) we will explore this ancient practice and wonder how it affects us today.
Each week we will wonder about one of the six questions in the Baptismal Covenant found in the Book of Alternative Services on page 159. When you look at page 159 you will notice there are only five promises. The Anglican Church of Canada added a sixth. You can find it at Anglican.ca.
This week we wonder about the second baptismal covenant:
Will you persevere in resisting evil &, whenever you fall into sin, repent & return to the Lord?
