Right up to Lent (which begins on Ash Wednesday February 26th) we will explore this ancient practice & wonder how it affects us today.
Each week we will wonder about one of the six questions in the Baptismal Covenant found in the Book of Alternative Services on page 159. If you do not have a Book of Alternative Services – please take one! They are on the bottom shelves in our library. When you look at page 159 you will notice there are only five promises. The Anglican Church of Canada added a sixth. You can find it at Anglican.ca.
This week we wonder about the fifth baptismal covenant:
Will you seek & serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbour as yourself?
