The Apostles' Creed is an ancient poem telling of the great mystery of God. Sometimes the words of the Apostles' Creed seem distant or hard to understand. That's ok. It is because the words are directing our hearts and minds to a beautiful vision of God which is impossible to put into human words.
This series of lessons begins with a reflection on who the child is and then moves from line to line of the poem.
In no way do the lessons offer the full, comprehensive breadth and depth of the Apostles' Creed - who could? But they are simple entry points into Christian theology to help your child begin to develop their own Christian imagination.
The latest edition of A Children's Cathechism Part I: Our Faith includes original art by the Reverend Amanda Ruston.
